If you know even a minimal amount of information about our government, you will understand why lobbyists are very pleased with Trump’s choices of top advisers and his nominees for his cabinet. He has chosen billionaires, Wall Street moguls, and others who are supporters of the one-percent. The working class will have no representation in a Trump administration.
“I’m liking what I see,” said Norm Coleman, former Republican senator and a current lobbyist who did not support Trump. “For someone who wasn’t on the train, he’s putting together a pretty good team.”
Trump promised that he would “drain the swamp” in Washington. It appears that he has created a cesspool, filled with what is left after the pond scum is removed. He has filled his circle of sinners with those who supported him during his campaign, and has displayed zero interest related to their qualifications.
“There’s not much to complain about,” said veteran Republican lobbyist Charlie Black. “Who are you going to complain about?”
When lobbyists are happy, the working class suffers. Our rights are ignored, and Washington continues to be a city which supports the philosophy of profit before people.
I claim that lobbyists are in direct opposition to the 14th amendment. Because the working class and the poor do not have lobbyists, we are not receiving equal protection under the law. Our nation has become an oligarchy, and with Trump as the leader of the one-percent, it will soon be a plutocracy. The only way a plutocracy can maintain power, is by instituting fascism.
Our nation’s majority, nearly 320 million Americans, will be placed in servitude to our government.
Democracy has left America’s borders.
