It appears that Trump believes he can run our nation on twitter; he isn’t doing anything else, unless you consider meeting with Kanye West important to our country’s future.
Whether or not you support our illegitimate president-elect, you should be very concerned about Russia hacking our election system. Vladimir Putin is not a friend of the United States. The truth is that Trump knew about them before they occurred, and is attempting to take attention away from the truth. He sent a tweet which concerned an unproven attack by his campaign organization months ago.
“Are we talking about the same cyberattack where it was revealed that head of the DNC illegally gave Hillary the questions to the debate?” Trump tweeted.
There is little more than a month from the inauguration. What is Trump doing? He’s partying and sending vindictive tweets. He’s out on a victory tour. What he is not doing is attending daily security briefings, meeting with the Joint Chiefs of Staff, or consulting with our security agencies. He is not speaking to the American people by holding a press conference.
Trump continues to deny any Russian involvement in the election, but then he “can’t handle the truth.” His long relationship with Putin culminated in a victory for Mother Russia. Trump not only received assistance, he knew about it years in advance. How else could he have won the Republican nomination; the entire party was opposed to his ambition.
Of course, I cannot allow the media to be free from their part in our national disaster. The television networks set a double standard from the very beginning. Trump bribed public officials, stole from his own charity, revealed his racism and bigotry, supported hatred and violence at his rallies, displayed his disdain for all Muslims, was overheard saying vile and disturbing things about women, a tape revealed him claiming to have raped a woman on the Celebrity Apprentice, and was accused by more than a dozen women of sexual assault. But Hillary’s use of a private e-mail server was much more serious according to the media’s constant reporting.
The media also constantly referred to Hillary as “untrustworthy,” but none of them called Trump what he really is; immoral, a liar, a philanderer, a sexist, and simply, a dirty old white man.
