If you don’t remember this comment by Donald Trump, your president-elect, You’ll hear it much more frequently after January 20th. He agrees with Vladimir Putin that our nations should spend billions of dollars in a return to the cold war. Increasing the number of nuclear weapons is their priority.
In a speech today, Putin said the following.
“We need to strengthen the military potential of strategic nuclear forces,” he said, according to an Agence France-Presse translation, “especially with missile complexes that can reliably penetrate any existing and prospective missile defense systems.”
This is what Trump tweeted today.
“The United States must greatly strengthen and expand its nuclear capability until such time as the world comes to its senses regarding nukes.”
For those of you who are not regular readers, or readers of Mother Jones or British publications, you are unaware that this situation began more than five years ago. Recently a high-ranking Russian spy delivered documents proving that Trump has been an asset for the Russian government for that entire period of time. Now do you see why Putin interfered in our election, and why Mitch McConnell refuses to conduct a mandatory investigation? The election was rigged, and Trump knew about it two years ago.
The millions of uninformed and ignorant voters who elected Trump may have signed a death warrant for their own families at the same time. China will certainly act in a similar manner as these two megalomaniacs, and the world will become a more dangerous place than it has been since 1963. Trump’s ego, mixed with the weakest temperament in the world, presents the greatest danger to world peace since the rise of Adolf Hitler in 1934. Our first fuhrer will be given the nuclear launch codes on January 20, 2017.
The America of our founding fathers met its demise on November 8th; the world may be destroyed before the end of next year.
