The media and our corrupt politicians fail to respect the intelligence of most of the American people. They continue to believe that all of our nation’s citizens are as ignorant and uninformed as Trump supporters. Most of us are aware of facts and refuse to believe the lies and misdirection of television news and the traitors in the Republican Party. Multiple unrealistic and fallacious remarks by Trump and his circle of sinners are ignored by FOX, CBS, NBC, and ABC. Our nation has become dominated by the extreme right, and the fourth estate is extinct. Profit before people is the new motto of our nation.
Trump is no longer a danger to democracy; he has already succeeded in destroying the future of our nation. Equality, freedom, and justice for all is only a memory. His white supremacist regime is planning to shred the Constitution, and has begun a war against all minorities and those who are not Christian. Hate crimes are increasing. Those who have existed in the shadows have stepped forward and embraced their new leader.
Fascism is no longer the dream of the Republican Party; it is now a reality. 320 million Americans will no longer have a voice in Washington on January 21st.
Okay; let’s get to the basic facts which few have the courage to report. We begin with the Republican Party which is a name only organization. Since 1996, they have attempted to move our nation away from a democracy and into an oligarchy. Throughout the Bush Administration of the early 2000’s, our nation became controlled by fear, and hatred. When the majority of Americans displayed the arrogance of electing a black man as our nation’s president, those in the shadows, who hate blacks in America, found this totally unacceptable. Mitch McConnell joined their cause and promise that Republicans in congress would do nothing as long as a black man lived in the White House. One of the most intelligent and caring presidents in history was continually denigrated by the right wing, although he succeeded in moving our nation out of a near depression and into recovery. Throughout modern history, Republicans have placed our nation in bankruptcy.
The 2016 election season became historical in March of 2015. One of the greatest traitors in American history declared his candidacy earlier than anyone else in history under controversy. Ted Cruz represents the worst of America. This would continue throughout the ridiculously long campaign season.
Seventeen GOP candidates crowded into the clown car. RNC Chairman Reince Priebus decided that this was unacceptable, and would limit participation in the upcoming debates. This began a historical campaign season and the end of the Republican Party, which was respected for hundreds of years prior to 2016..
The idiocy of Priebus opened the door for the most unqualified and despicable candidate in history to become the standard bearer for the once Grand Old Party.
The media failed to offer the American people a single positive accomplishment by one of the greatest candidates of all time. Instead they focused on Hillary’s use of a private e-mail server in support of the Republican Party.
Efforts by multiple entities failed to derail Hillary’s campaign until WikiLeaks began its attacks with the support of the Russian President, Vladimir Putin. The final blow was the subversive decision by FBI Director James Comey to reopen an investigation into Hillary’s e-mail accounts just eleven days before the election. These allegations were based on nothing, but were an obvious effort to give the election to the most immoral candidate in history.
We now have the first president-elect who is illegitimate, and the most immoral man in America.
No one on broadcast television has the courage to tell the truth. If you ask ‘why,’ the truth is simple and sad. The entertainment personalities on major networks are paid millions of dollars each year to secure advertising and subvert the truth. Facts do not sell advertising. Sensationalism offers additional revenue, and that was the Trump candidacy. Patriots such as Hillary Clinton who promised to serve the majority did not sell advertising dollars.
“America is not a country; it is a business.” This line from a movie reveals the truth.
I cannot sing the national anthem or pledge the allegiance to the flag because they no longer have meaning for the majority of the American people.
The government of the United States is totally corrupt. They no longer serve the needs and wishes of the American people.
With Republicans in control, the one-percent will decide every issue, and the majority of nearly 320 million people will be ignored, and expected to bow to their government.
I am not normally this bleak and pessimistic. However, this farce we called an election has proven that the American people do not care about their own future. They have allowed fear, anger, and hatred to replace kindness, compassion, and love for one another.
