If you read me regularly, you know that I have no respect for the mainstream media. They have become politically correct and therefore fail to tell the complete truth when reporting politics. They are no longer legitimate journalists, they are overpaid personalities whose sole purpose is to increase advertising; profit before people.

If they had the courage of their predecessors, they would bluntly state certain facts, instead of completely ignoring them. The television news agencies have access to far more information than we bloggers. They know that Trump has been an asset of Vladimir Putin for more than five years. Therefore, they have absolute proof that Russia interfered in our election in an attempt to secure a victory for Trump.

What upsets me the most is their omission of the facts that racism, sexism, and homophobia are not only existent, but flourishing in the United States.

Just weeks after President Obama was inaugurated in 2008, protests began across the nation organized by those who would become the un-American “TEA Party.” Before they began, Senate Minority Leader, Mitch McConnell, told the media that Republicans would do nothing with the exception of ensuring that Mr. Obama would be a one-term president. It was an act of pure racism by the senator from Kentucky, and proof that white nationalists would not accept a black man as their president.

Trump’s entire campaign was racist and sexist. He encouraged fear, anger, hatred, and violence against his detractors. His rhetoric denouncing Hispanics and Muslims was unforgivable, and yet he was gifted the presidency by the Electoral College. He told his deplorable supporters that ‘Hillary Clinton did not look presidential.’ What he was really saying is that she was unfit to be the president because she did not have a penis; one at least as minuscule as Trump’s own.

His vice-president, Mike Pence, was the first governor in the nation to reveal his homophobia. He signed into law measures which would allow businesses in Indiana to refuse service to the LGBT community based upon their religious beliefs. He placed his religious extremism ahead of the Constitutional rights of thousands of his state’s residence. What is most frightening is that he believes in “conversion therapy,” a policy which has been debunked by every psychiatric group in the nation.

You will never hear the media discussing the many instances of racism, sexism, and homophobia which occur daily in our nation. White supremacists have come out of the shadows now that they have a leader in Washington; but you’ll never hear the truth from Charlie Rose, Scott Pelley, or Lester Holt. The media continues to place Trump in a favorable light. The truth will never come from these millionaires that he is the most immoral man in America. They are afraid to tell the truth and cost their network a single advertiser.

The evil in America is growing, and the proof is that the ‘orange man’ will be defiling the White House on January 20th.
