Thanks to the Republican standard bearer, Donald Trump, (which means they have no standards), the GOP will be throwing money away faster than a sailor on shore leave. Trump claims that he will increase the Pentagon’s budget. The military brass waste at least half of their yearly funding, but Trump believes that if they try harder, they can waste even more. Congress is apparently going to waste billions of dollars building an unnecessary wall between Mexico and the United States which is already guaranteed to fail its very purpose; and Mexico will not repay us for its construction.

Financial experts stated that Trump’s fiscal plan would make the wealthy, wealthier, harm the working class, and increase our deficit by trillions. It appears that this is a guarantee even before he is officially your president.

The following statement is the biggest lie I have ever heard, and it is purely a political ploy. It offers additional proof that the GOP is bowing to Trump in the greatest demonstration of hypocrisy in American history.

“It would be a proposal that would cost billions of dollars to get done, but if it’s an appropriate priority for our country, it’s worth spending that kind of money,” said Rep. Luke Messer (R-Ind.), chairman of the House Republican Policy Committee.

Messer’s statement adds another reason why we cannot trust Republicans with our government. They will literally throw money away before they institute programs to eliminate poverty or close the growing gap in income inequality.

Republicans are pure capitalists; money and political power are more important than 320 million American people. They will gladly take away your health insurance, and prevent impoverished women from receiving care from Planned Parenthood, and spend ten times more than that small sum to build a wall which is unnecessary and a bad idea which has failure written all over it.

They will give the Pentagon anything they want; knowing that most of it will go to waste. If you vote for Republicans, you are voting in favor of political corruption.
