Trump tower was crowded with an estimated 300 reporters who had no idea what to expect from the man who was gifted the presidency by the Electoral College more than two months ago. What they received were angry comments from a bully whose weak temperament is unable to take criticism. In some ways it resembled his rallies; there was name calling and denial, as well as threats of reprisal.
It appeared that he ceased his denial that Russia was responsible for interference in our election, but he later qualified his statement by saying that it could have been someone else.
He refused to take questions from a CNN reporter, shouting that they were “fake news.”
He flatly refused to answer several questions. When he was asked about the details of his proposal to replace the Affordable Care Act, Trump refused to give any details; because there is no plan.
It was another Trump sideshow. On a table next to the podium were stacks of papers the illegitimate president-elect claimed were legal papers he was studying to prevent a conflict of interest with his business ventures. I’m not sure he can read anything other than a tweet.
When asked whether anyone in his circle of sinners had been in contact with Russia during the election, he declined to answer. Questions about recent reports that Russia claims to have pictures and possibly film of Trump engaging in lascivious actions in Moscow were trashed by your president.
As expected, the entire event was staged, and little substance was entertained by Trump. No one has any real idea of how bad a president he will be; but everyone will soon learn the truth.
