2017 will be the United States 241^st year of existence. Under a Trump administration, it could be our last. Today, January 20, 2017, will be remembered as a ‘day of infamy.’ Our first illegitimate, white supremacist, sexist, and bigoted president will be inaugurated by our failed government. No longer will the American people have representation in Washington. Our leaders will be puppets controlled by the Russian President, Vladimir Putin.

In 2011 Trump and Putin began a plan to destroy our nation, and place it under the control of the former KGB strong man, Vladimir Putin. Trump and Putin conspired to take control of our election in 2016. For Putin, it was revenge against Hillary Clinton who questioned Putin’s legitimate election in 2011, which was challenged by Russian news agencies and those observing the election of his presidency. For Trump, it was the possibility of expanding his business ventures into the former Soviet Union. Together they began a long term plan to create a new world order where only a few nations and their leaders would control the world’s economy.

When America’s illegitimate president, Donald Trump, is sworn in today, our nation will lose its democracy, and its future will be in control of a megalomaniac and his puppeteer. His traitorous and hypocritical party will support his fascist regime, and shred the Constitution. The rights of the majority will begin to disappear, and minorities will suffer instant reprisals by Trump’s administration.

As an original baby boomer, I have cherished my nation and have been proud of my patriotism for all of my 70 years. I maintained my loyalty to the American people during difficult times including the Vietnam War, and the illegal invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq. Today, as most Americans reject the institution of Trump as the leader of our nation, I question millions of my fellow Americans who were so uninformed and ignorant in their support of the most unqualified and immoral man ever to infest the White House.

Trump will never receive the respect of most Americans, and will not be recognized as the legitimate president or our once respected nation. His slogan of ‘make America great again’ is nothing more than a euphemism which translates into a white supremacist motto.

Trump is not an American, and cannot be confirmed as our president. Today our nation will be confirmed as one of the worst nations in the developed world.

I will spend the day mourning my America. I will attempt to fight possible depression by watching Amazon Prime or Netflix comedies as the unforgivable events in Washington are underway.

America’s darkest day will be remembered from this day forward when our nation allowed the most evil man in America his ambition to become our nation’s first fuhrer.
