Trump Never Met a Fact He Liked

New Republican Logo

Above all else, Trump’s extremely weak temperament will not allow him to accept facts if they oppose his personal opinion. He continues to claim that his win in the Electoral College was a “mandate” from the people. He denies the fact that Hillary Clinton literally crushed him in the popular vote. He denies Russia’s proven involvement in our election. He continues to claim that the crowd at his inauguration was “huge,” although by all estimates, it was the least attended in decades.

Trump will never admit that he was the least popular president-elect in history. His ridiculous comment about the Women’s March on Washington was “why didn’t they vote.” The fact is Mr. Trump, that I’m absolutely certain that they all voted, and not for you.

Republicans hate the truth, but Trump takes it to a new level. His need for adulation and approval is proof of his extremely weak temperament and the need for his ego to be stroked constantly.

My greatest concern is how he will speak to our allies and our enemies. He lacks a mastery of the English language, and often speaks long before he thinks. He is a danger to our nation in multiple ways, including his failure to learn any degree of diplomacy.

Trump denies any media report which fails to flatter him. On Saturday, he ordered his new press secretary, Sean Spicer, to hold an impromptu press conference. This was his statement which obviously included an “alternative truth,” according to Kellyanne Conway.

Nobody had numbers, because the National Park Service does not put any out,” he insisted. Seconds later, he said: “This was the largest audience ever to witness an inauguration, both in person and around the globe.”

I chose not to watch the travesty; did you? I do not accept Trump as my legitimate president, so why would I watch an event which was nothing more than a sham?

I have often said that if Trump’s lips are moving, he’s lying. I appreciate the fact that he continues to prove me right.
