This article will be less event oriented, and more to what I view as the future of our nation and the world. First of all, I want to thank all of you who read me on a regular basis. I promise to tell the truth, and I will never break that promise. Sometimes facts are almost unbelievable, and the forecast based on those facts is not something anyone wants to accept.
The election of Trump, the most immoral and unqualified man in history, has done more than offer destruction to the positive changes for the majority of Americans in the last 60 years. He is a danger to world peace based on his extremely weak temperament, and his penchant for revenge. More importantly, he has exposed the Republican Party which began its intention to destroy democracy and institute an oligarchy in 1980.
The Reagan administration began a policy by the GOP to support special interests and deny the working class equal rights and protection under the Constitution. When the GOP demagogue instituted an economic policy of ‘supply side economics,’ which became more realistically described as “trickle-down economics,” it was a clear sign that the wealthiest Americans would receive priority over the majority. This became a proven fact when Reagan left office in 1989 with the nation in debt for eight trillion dollars, and unemployment at ten percent.
When George H.W. Bush became our 41st president, the cornerstone of his campaign was; “read my lips, no new taxes.” Bush was a good man who loved his country, but he was not a qualified president. He was unaware that Reagan’s failed economic policies would force him to raise taxes or force the deficit to rise exponentially. He lost his effort for reelection to Bill Clinton in 1992.
Bill Clinton’s cabinet and supervisors were masters at fiscal policy. When he left office in 2001, our nation experienced a surplus. The debt incurred by Reagan, and extended by Bush, had not only disappeared, our nation had ‘extra money.’
Eight years of a failed George W. Bush Administration left America with a near depression. Two illegal and failed war efforts, combined with the deregulation of Wall Street and an eventual crash in the housing market destroyed our economy.
Enter one of the greatest presidents in history, Barrack Obama. He inherited problems never faced by any president in modern history. Mr. Obama left office just four days ago. Our nation was in recovery, and our unemployment rate was less than five percent. More than 20 million Americans now had health care, and the average income had risen dramatically.
Now we have a man in the Oval Office who has never been involved in government. More importantly, he is a man vilified by his own party. Nearly every respectable Republican, from leaders such as RNC Chairman Reince Priebus, Senate Majority Leader, Mitch McConnell, Speaker of the House, Paul Ryan, 2012 presidential candidate, Mitt Romney, 2008 candidate John McCain, and dozens of others offered their opinions of the disreputable Republican nominee until he was gifted the presidency by the Electoral College. Now these same men have become the greatest hypocrites in the history of the United States and bow to their fuhrer. They have capitulated to his every demand, and placed the majority of the American people in great danger.
Trump is a pathological liar, and Republicans have accepted his “alternative facts” as their own. This is an example of how far Republicans will go to maintain power at the expense of the American people.
Trump continues to vocalize a proven falsehood that three million voters were illegal. His minions agree with him. They all deny the truth. The media, Vladimir Putin, and James Comey were instrumental in Trump’s illegitimate victory; these are the facts which Trump and his subordinates hate.
These were comments by the enemies of the American people today.
“It does occur,” McConnell told reporters at the Capitol Tuesday on the issue of election fraud. “There are always arguments on both sides about how much, how frequent and all the rest. … The notion that election fraud is a fiction is not true.”
John Cornyn of Texas, also passed up a chance to dispute Trump’s claim Tuesday, saying “I’m not going to re-litigate that. It’s time to move on.”
“There’s always a certain amount of irregularity that goes on in elections, some places perhaps more so than others. How you quantify that I’m not sure, but he must have his methodology,” Thune said.
House Speaker Paul Ryan, R-Wis., told reporters on the illegal voting claim: “I’ve seen no evidence to that effect and I’ve made that very, very clear,” though he declined to get drawn into further comment.
“Do I believe it? I have no evidence of it.” But McCain, who did not support Trump for president, demurred when asked whether Trump should stop uttering falsehoods.
“I did not support the president of the United States in the election so I don’t really have any place where I tell him what he should do,” McCain said.
Hypocrites one and all. Trump lies and they all drink the Kool-aid. The only thing that matters to Republicans is winning elections and the money they receive from lobbyists.
If your are middle class, lower middle class, low income, or impoverished, your future is in great jeopardy under Republican rule and the administration of Trump. His economic policies will widen income inequality. He will likely place our nation in another war. The sons and daughters of politicians and the wealthy seldom serve in combat. Bush sent thousands or young Americans to their death while his daughters and the sons and daughters of his associates stayed home safe and sound.
The media will state that this is a new era in our nation; they are lying to us all. They support trump because they are millionaires who will never jeopardize their financial future by losing advertisers.
Face the truth; Republicans are not your friends. Trump is not your friend. The media are not your friends. In the next few months it will become obvious that a Trump presidency is intended to increase his personal wealth, and nothing more.
