In four years, or sooner, when Trump is no longer infesting the White House, he will forever be known as the “master manipulator.” The media has constantly allowed Trump to win the game. He misdirects the focus from real issues to outrageous claims and blatant lies.

Today, Trump’s statements related to his ban on Muslims from only seven states is not under real scrutiny from the media. They are failing the American people by not exposing the truth behind another executive order which appears rash and unconstitutional on the surface.

This was Trump’s futile and mostly fallacious attempt to justify his immoral decision on Friday.

“My policy is similar to what President Obama did in 2011 when he banned visas for refugees from Iraq for six months.”

Okay, here’s the truth. But first, consider the reality; this is another misdirection by con-man Donald J. Trump.

The only reference to a six-month ban was found in a 2013 statement.

“As a result of the Kentucky case, the State Department stopped processing Iraq refugees for six months in 2011, federal officials told ABC News — even for many who had heroically helped U.S. forces as interpreters and intelligence assets.”

The ‘Kentucky case’ occurred in 2011 when two, and only two, Iraqi’s were detained by Homeland Security. Of primary interest was Waad Ramadan Alwan. Fingerprints found on a wireless phone used to detonate improvised explosive devices, IEDs, and manufactured by Alwan, proved that he had murdered or maimed multiple members of our military while he lived in Iraq. His asylum was reversed, and he was arrested and charged with terrorist attacks against United States citizens.

Trump knows this fact, and is once again diverting attention from the truth.

Trump claims that his action is intended to prevent terrorists from entering the nation. This is a blatant lie, which is being ignored by the media. Among Muslim nations not banned by his presidential decree, are Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and the United Arab Emirates. Trump and Secretary of State Tillerson have business interests in these Muslim states.

More importantly, if restricting terrorists is his goal, he is ignoring facts. Saudi Arabia exported 15 or the 19 cowards who attacked the United States on September 11, 2001.

Without investigative intent or ability, the media is a failure, and can no longer be labeled the formerly respectable ‘fourth estate.’

I was watching a tribute to Tom Brokaw last evening for 50 years of broadcasting on NBC. I have never been a fan, and he displayed the reason why I never trusted his reporting. He is biased towards the Republican Party. His devotion to Reagan, and acceptance of Trump is deplorable.

Brokaw joined Kellyanne Conway in claiming that Hillary lost because of her inability to reach the working class. Really? He ignored the fact that three items; factually proven; gifted Trump the Electoral College. Although he was crushed by nearly three million votes from the American people. There is proof that the media, Vladimir Putin, and James Comey contributed to Trump’s illegitimate presidency.

This is how he media fails the people. Lies, and misdirection are the norm. The rich take care of the rich.
