I know from looking at what you read most on my blog, that the world despises Kellyanne Conway. She deserves it. She was hired as Trump’s spin doctor, and everything she tells an interviewer is a lie to cover a lie. She is a traitor to her sex, and a traitor to America. If her lies were not so harmful, she would be the object of continuous laughter.

On Tuesday, CNN’s Jake Tapper and Conway engaged in an exchange lasting for 25 minutes. He questioned her about Trump’s many “alternative facts.” Of course she became defensive.

The tense discussion came after Tapper refused to have Conway on his Sunday show, “State of the Union,” based upon her perceived lack of veracity.

Tapper attacked Conway for her dismissal of news based on facts and criticizing Trump and his administration; calling every story ‘fake news.’

“It is difficult to hear criticism from the White House, which has such little regard day in, day out, for facts, for truth and who calls us fake news for stories that they don’t like,” Tapper said.

Conway attempted to keep her composure and maintain a tricky relationship between Trump, his circle of sinners, and CNN.

“I don’t think CNN is fake news,” she responded. “I think there are some reports everywhere, in print, on TV, on radio, in conversation that are not well researched and are sometimes based on falseness and are actually hurtful.”

Let’s dissect this short statement; it reveals a lot about the character of Trump and his cohorts.

Although Trump directly called CNN ‘fake news’ during a news conference, Conway appears to contradict her boss; or is she simply pretending that it never happened? The latter is closest to the truth. Conway labeled some reports by the media as ‘not well researched,’ when in fact articles about Trump generally use his own words and actions. Trump’s inadequacies are available for everyone to observe.

Tapper was especially upset when Trump lied in front of a military audience, claiming that ‘terrorist incidents were unreported by the media.’

“He was saying the media does not cover these stories because we don’t want to cover them because we have some sort of agenda,” Tapper said. “That’s what he was suggesting and it’s offensive given the fact that CNN and other media organizations have reporters in danger right now in war zones covering [the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria]. And I just don’t understand how the president can make an attack like that.”

Conway acknowledged some coverage, but defended Trump falsely claiming that the media is acting as if the campaign season remained active.

“There seems to be some coverage these days, maybe not here, but definitely elsewhere that somehow terrorism is not a big problem, or somehow national security is all taken care of and that’s just not true,” Conway said. “I think when you’re talking about extreme vetting, he is making the point that that is in response to the threat of terrorism globally.”

Denial remains in effect. Trump’s obsession with one issue, terrorism, allows him to ignore the many problems facing our nation. He would rather watch cable television while wearing his robe than do his job.
