I believed that I had finished writing about the most disgusting and embarrassing display of ignorance and arrogance by a president in America history. But I just cannot stop thinking about yesterday’s press conference.
Who in the hell does Trump think he is. He is a lesser man than most in the United States, and he is standing behind the Presidential Seal telling reporters from legitimate news organizations to “shut up,” “sit down,” and “be quiet.” This immature and immoral man must resign from his illegitimate role as president.
Trump would like to be Kim Jong-un, Joseph Stalin, Adolf Hitler, or Vladimir Putin, but he is not. He is a public servant who lacks the intelligence and charisma to be a true dictator.
All of Trump’s attacks were blatant lies, and some were racist and bigoted. His biggest lie was claiming that he had the largest, or in ‘Trump-speak,’ “bigliest,’ electoral college win since Ronald Reagan, and was pointed out by real reporter. His 306 votes were insignificant to previous presidents.
In 2012, Barrack Obama received 332 electoral votes; in 1996, Bill Clinton received 370 votes; an in 1988, George H.W. Bush received a whopping 426. What’s more important, all of these real presidents also won the popular vote; Trump lost by nearly three million.
Trump said, “well, I heard…,” and well “I was told…;” it didn’t hold water.
His racial remarks towards a black reporter and his degrading response to the first Hasidic Jewish reporter were unforgivable.
Trump is the opposite of ‘presidential.’ Possibly the most ridiculous event in America history will be held on Saturday in Florida. He is holding a rally. Once again, “I’m not making this s**t up. His ego is so damaged from his low inaugural turnout; his crushing defeat in the popular vote by Hillary Clinton; his lowest approval ratings for a new president in history; being forced to fire Mike Flynn; and the mandatory withdrawal of Andrew Puzder, he feels a need to soothe his weak temperament.
In Trump’s own words: “Sad; so sad.”
