Those of you who know me are aware that the quality in a human being I respect the most is intelligence. I’m talking about men and women who are aware; who understand and accept the truth. They deserve my ultimate gift; my respect. But I am very concerned when I read that all too many ignorant Americans believe Donald Trump. And when he tells them that the press is our enemy, I must question our nation’s average intelligence quotient. When millions of people see the most immoral man in America as the “second coming of Christ,” I am extremely fearful for our nation’s future.
Angry and ill-informed voters elected a man who is not only immoral, but also lacks basic intelligence. His emotions prevent him from making rational decisions, and his laziness prevents him from seeking a cure. Trump has a worse work ethic than Marco Rubio, and far worse than any other sitting president.
White House sources reveal that they must keep Trump involved or he begins tweeting nonsense. If he is left alone too long, he begins to lose his temper while watching fake news on television. He watches FOX, and listens to Alex Jones for hours. This is where he receives most of his misinformation.
Trump proved to the American people who he is when he surrounded himself with men and women who are ignorant, as well as bigoted. This is not what any intelligent man or woman does, especially when they become the leader of the free world. A man of average intelligence would have attempted to find the best and brightest in their field to assist him in making the best possible decisions.
Trump doesn’t want advice, with the exception of instruction from Vladimir Putin. Therefore, his choices including Steve Bannon, Kellyanne Conway, Stephen Miller, Sean Spicer, and Jeff Sessions frighten me. I wouldn’t trust one of them to tell me the truth if I asked them the time of day.
Lies can only take someone so far. Nobody believes anything Bannon says, and Conway is now banned from multiple networks after she continued to tell falsehoods and refused to answer questions. Miller and Spicer are literally ‘blithering idiots,’ and the press is fully aware of their insignificance. Jeff Sessions is expected to protect the legal rights of all Americans and is a white supremacist.
Intelligent men make intelligent choices. Enough said.
When George W. Bush was elected, I remember working one evening when a gentleman from Texas said: “I like George; he’s a good ‘ole boy; he’s one of us.”
I expect; no, I demand more from our president. I miss the intellect of Barrack Obama. Our nation is in control of the schoolyard bully who is struggling to maintain a “D-” average.
