Those of us who watch politics around the world are witnessing a startling trend. A nationalist movement is rejecting democracy, and accepting totalitarian rule around the world. Tactics of fear, anger, and hatred have resulted in a new wave of isolationism resulting from distrust, and politicians who have grasped a new tool to offer them an opportunity to obtain positions of power and wealth.

As I have been learning about this disturbing trend, I took and even closer look at my beloved country. For me, the United States of America will always be the ‘home of the brave and the land of the free.’ I will always cherish my years in elementary school when we recited the Pledge of Allegiance every morning which ended in “with liberty and justice for all.” The Constitution is undoubtedly the greatest and most important document ever created by a group of men who believed that all men are created equal.

The truth is that unless the hypocrites and cowards in the Republican Party stand up to their fascist leader, America will cease to exist. The good news is that the majority of the American people will not accept this as reality. But is there a plan by other government agencies, and even the military to destroy Trump before he destroys us? Some believe this may be a reality.

Julian Assange has released thousands of pages of CIA documents. He believes that the intelligence agencies are fearful of Trump’s ignorance and refusal to read daily briefings and accept their information as fact. Relying on FOX Noise and Alex Jones is not acceptable.

“Clinton stated privately this month that she is quietly pushing for a Pence takeover, “Assange tweeted Tuesday. “She stated that Pence is predictable hence defeatable.”

A great number of us who pay close attention to what is happening in our nation believe that Trump will never complete his first term. He may be impeached, or forced to resign because of ethics violations, or he may simply decide that this job is not acceptable for his lifestyle of privilege and debauchery. Mike Pence is an even weaker candidate. He is a religious extremist who places his beliefs ahead of the nation and the Constitution. He is not an American, and lacks any charismatic qualities. Simply put, he is a ‘yes man.’ He is not a leader.

The choice is up to you. Are you a true patriot? Do you love the ideals and principles of our founding fathers, or will you accept fascism and raise your right arm shouting “heil Trump?”

The midterms will be here soon. Take a stand and take back your country. Republicans are the enemy of the majority.
