During his campaign, Trump promised to “drain the swamp in Washington.” He never defined what that meant. I hoped that it meant removing the obstructionists in the House and Senate, and put our government back to work. That would have meant removing Mitch McConnell and Paul Ryan from their positions of power. They are the reasons nothing positive has been accomplished by Congress. Sadly, this was not the case.

Ryan and McConnell immediately became hypocrites and bowed to Trump’s every wish. Trump began to create his own cesspool.

His first selections for his circle of sinners received minimal attention from the mainstream media, but for me and others who closely follow the day to day events in Washington, Trump made a statement, and defined his illegitimate presidency.

I was confused when he chose Reince Priebus as his chief of staff. Priebus is a weak and failed politician. His lack of leadership in the Republican Party cost them any chance of winning elections. When Trump chose him to be what is normally the second most powerful position in Washington, it just didn’t make sense. Then Trump chose Steve Bannon as the White House chief adviser. Now the reason for his choice was clear.

Bannon is Robert Mercer’s closest associate. From Cruz’ failed campaign to Trump’s illegitimate election, Bannon’s purpose was to control Trump’s candidacy and his pretend-presidency. Bannon is running the White House under the guidance of billionaire Robert Mercer; Priebus is just a tool.

Bannon left Breitbart to work with Mercer; Mercer is one of Bretibart’s biggest financial supporters. Breitbart promotes white supremacy, Islamophobia, homophobia, sexism, anti-Semitism, and any other prejudice which opposes the America of our founding fathers. When Trump bonded with these two vile men, he finally offered proof about what many already believe; he is a white supremacist.

Trump began to add white millionaires and billionaires to grow his cesspool. Trump nominated another white supremacist as his Attorney General; Jeff Sessions. He selected Betsy DeVos as the Secretary of Education. Not only was the billionaire donor to the Republican Party unqualified, she has a goal which attacks the very foundation of the first amendment. DeVos would eliminate public education, and force the children of America to attend private Christian schools. Rex Tillerson was the CEO of Exxon-Mobile. He has a very close relationship with Vladimir Putin, both personally and professionally. Trump nominated him as his Secretary of State; in my humble opinion, the most important of all cabinet positions. Tillerson is a tired, old, white man, who wanted to retire until his wife told him to accept the position because “God wanted him to.” He has already demonstrated that he lacks the ability and the stamina to perform his job.

Other deplorables include, Wilbur Ross, Scott Pruitt, Steve Mnuchin, Rick Perry, and Ben Carson.

But the most inept and unforgivable are three individuals who have no qualifications or reasons for their positions within Trump’s circle of sinners.

Trump created a position for Kellyanne Conway. This is unlawful; it was done without the approval of Congress. Jared Kushner, Trump’s son-in-law has an un-defined position. Now Ivanka Trump, Jared’s wife, will have her own office, and once again an un-defined position. There is no information regarding who will pay them. If it is the American taxpayer, this is a crime and not acceptable.

It is no surprise that Trump lied again. The swamp remains. He has added his own cesspool, and our government no longer pretends to represent the American people. Republicans in control of the House and Senate now pray to their new god; Donald Trump.

Vote them out in November of 2018; take your country back.
