It is doubtful that the House will pass Trumpcare today. It is a costly and rash bill which does more harm than good. While Obamacare has become popular, Trumpcare is being denounced as a complete failure by the American people.

If it is passed, millions of Americans will lose coverage; Medicare and Medicaid benefits will be reduced; funding for Planned Parenthood will be removed; potentially millions of women’s coverage for pregnancy, maternity, and newborn care will no longer exist.

Donald Trump is the most most immoral man, and the least qualified to ever infest the White House. But we cannot ignore Paul Ryan. When he presented Trumpcare to the American people, he acted like a giddy little girl. He was so anxious to repeal Obamacare, he didn’t have a single concern about how poor the offering before the people actually was.

America is not a great country; it is not rated in the top ten. The reasons are simple. The happiness and security of our nation’s people is of little concern to our failed government. The greatest country in the world, Denmark, offers its people free healthcare. Not only are all expenses related to pregnancy completely covered, women receive one year of paid maternity leave. When she returns to the workplace, childcare is available at little or no cost.

Trumpcare would remove any payments for pregnancy care; remove paid leave after childbirth; and eliminate funding for child care.

These decisions are made by old, white men. America desperately needed a woman president to right the wrongs men committed over 240 years. Instead, we have a dirty old white man, who is a sexist, and an alleged sexual predator.

Senator Amy Klobuchar explained, “Having women at the table is incredibly important, not just for the numbers and for representing our country and equality, but also that they’re able to get things done in a unique way. Based on your own experiences, you can relate more and immediately see the unfairness of a problem that others are experiencing.”

Republicans refuse to admit that they have waged a war on women for more than 20 years. Violating the first amendment, GOP politicians have embraced the Christian religious right. One of this lobby’s goals is to ensure that men have control over women’s rights. They should be ashamed to use the title of “Christian,” they refute the teachings of Jesus Christ.

Women have the power to change things in America. They proved that fact on January 21^st. More women are enrolled in college than men. Women in their late 20’s are leaving their jobs to finish their education. Women are rejecting marriage, and often child bearing to establish careers.

I have always been proud to be a feminist.

November 2018 is coming; vote.
