If Trump’s Constant Lies Are not a Concern, What’s Wrong with You?

Trump (4)

“I like Steve, but you have to remember he was not involved in my campaign until very late. I had already beaten all the senators and all the governors, and I didn’t know Steve. I’m my own strategist and it wasn’t like I was going to change strategies because I was facing crooked Hillary.”

These were Trump’s words yesterday; and as usual there was not a word of truth in his statement.

Steve Bannon and Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner are battling in the White House. Because Trump will always protect his useless family first, there are rumors that Bannon may soon be sent packing.

Let’s analyze Trump’s statement.

Until billionaire Robert Mercer moved his money, Kellyanne Conway, and Steve Bannon into Trump’s campaign, Hillary Clinton was widening the spread in national polls; the only polls of any consequence. With the strategy of the former executive director of Breitbart, and spin doctor Conway, Trump’s campaign was stabilized.

I didn’t know Steve.” Trump obviously believes the lies he tells. Bannon and Trump met at Trump Tower in 2011. They were introduced by muckraker David Bossie, who attempted to derail the first campaign of Bill Clinton. They began a lasting relationship including nine appearances on Bannon’s Breitbart radio show between 2015 and 2016. They share an ambition to make America white again.

Lastly, Trump knows nothing about government or political strategy, and to continue to call Hillary ‘crooked,’ is farcical. It is Trump who has been the ‘crook’ all along, and continues to violate ethics laws, and the Constitution today.

“The car industry is not going to leave us anymore, believe me. The car industry is staying in our country. They were leaving — if I didn’t win this election, you would have lost your car industry to Mexico and to other countries. They’re not leaving anymore, believe me. There’s retribution if they leave. There was no retribution.” — Fox Business interview

More blatant lies. Ford will continue with a plan to move production of their small cars to an existing Mexico plant next year. The only retribution is in the form of idiotic tweets.

Trump had a meeting with the Secretary General of the United Nations.

“The secretary general and I had a productive discussion about what more NATO can do in the fight against terrorism. I complained about that a long time ago and they made a change, and now they do fight terrorism. I said it was obsolete. It’s no longer obsolete.”

There have been no changes in UN policy. Trump’s campaign complaints went unnoticed.

Trump has created some new jobs; hundreds of fact checkers are needed every time his lips are moving or his tiny thumbs are tweeting.
