In mid-February, a group of mental health specialists ended their silence and reported their beliefs about the mental health of one Donald J. Trump. Any American who has observed or listened to Trump was certain that he had severe emotional problems, and that he displayed paranoia. Professionals who are concerned about his ability to make rational decisions have stated their concerns.
35 US psychiatrists, psychologists and social workers questioned their new president’s mental health. They said that they had been ‘silent’ for too long.
“Silence from the country’s mental health organizations has been due to a self-imposed dictum about evaluating public figures,” Dr Lance Dodes and Dr Joseph Schachter wrote.
Any individual whose ego needs to be soothed constantly has a problem with insecurity and likely paranoia. A weak temperament which prevents accepting criticism adds to the problem, and necessary actions required during an emotional experience force individuals to make rash and poor decisions.
“This silence has resulted in a failure to lend our expertise to worried journalists and members of Congress at this critical time,” they wrote. “We fear that too much is at stake to be silent any longer.”
Some of you will say; ‘there he goes again;’ but I must ask a vital question: “Why isn’t this concern voiced on television “news?” The answer is simple; they love Trump. Since he declared his candidacy in June of 2015, their ratings have soared.
The “experts” described the President as having “an inability to tolerate views different from his own” and being susceptible to “rage reactions”.
“In a powerful leader, these attacks are likely to increase, as his personal myth of greatness appears to be confirmed. We believe that the grave emotional instability indicated by Mr Trump’s speech and actions makes him incapable of serving safely as President.”
We all know that he is immoral, a white supremacist, and intellectually incapable of leading our nation. His lack of understanding related to the daily workings of government forbid his acceptance as a president. Now we know that his mental acuity is in question by mental health professionals.
Let’s make a wise choice and send him to Mar-a-Lago permanently where he can play golf every day, and not be forced into sitting on a White House sofa watching cable news and listening to Alex Jones daily.
