Trump Shuns the World: He Knows More than Every One about Climate Change

Donald the Fascist

At the G7 Summit last week, Trump refused to sign the Paris Agreement, designed to reduce emissions caused by man’s use of fossil fuels. He promised to make a final decision this week.

Here’s what we know; he won’t sign it. Big oil has him in its pocket, and his close friend and associate has rich reserves in the arctic which have made Vladimir Putin the richest man in the world.

The United States will become only the third nation to refuse to sign the agreement. We will join Syria and Nicaragua in displaying our lack of concern for the future of the planet.

Trump continues to claim that climate change is a ‘hoax started by the Chinese.’

There is a slim hope that Trump will sign it as major corporations, including the CEO of Exxon, have urged him to ratify the agreement. If he does, he will offend the Republican propaganda machine, FOX Noise, Rush Limbaugh, Alex Jones, and the ‘freedom caucus.’

I have been writing about politics for years, and I remain shocked at what a mess the once ‘Grand Old Party’ has become. There is absolutely no resemblance between the Republican Party of 25 years ago and the RINOs of today. Republicans are divided, and will never become whole. They have far too many extremists to ever again govern effectively. Unless every current member of the GOP is removed from their lives of luxury and privilege, and replaced with men and women whose political beliefs are closer to the center, the name must be changed.

With the advent of the TEA Party in 2010, Republicans began to move farther to the right. Today the party is dysfunctional. They refuse to deliberate the issues with any Democrats, and therefore reject compromise. Although this diplomatic effort worked for our nation’s first 215 years, the last 25 have made our government virtually useless.

Many of today’s Democrats have philosophies very similar to Republicans during the Reagan administration, and before.

How can it be fixed? It cannot in its present form. As long as the TEA Party and the freedom caucus are in control, there is no hope. If the GOP continues to accept unqualified and careless leaders such as Mitch McConnell and lyin Paul Ryan, the party will remain in ruins and without principle.

Now the GOP has a party leader who supports white nationalism, rejects all religions other than Christianity, suffers from homophobia, and is a confirmed sexual predator, their standards have reached a new low.

Independents such as myself, and some dedicated Democrats can save our government and remove the oligarchy which now rules over us.

We, the people, can take our country back and return democracy to our beloved nation.
