The only thing proven by Attorney General Jeff Sessions’ testimony before the Senate today is that he is unqualified to serve at any level in the government of the United States. Sessions is first in line when Trump’s circle of sinners is kissing his fat a**.
During his testimony, he lied about his “recollection” about meetings with Russian diplomat/spy, Sergey Kislyak.
He also lied as he claimed that FBI Director Comey was fired because ‘of how he handled the Hillary Clinton e-mail investigations,’ although Trump told NBC personality Lester Holt that it was because he refused to halt the investigation into his connections with Russia.
Sessions’ “testimony” reached new levels of idiocy. He emphatically denied that he had anything to do with Russia’s involvement into our election; what else would we expect?
Sessions refused to admit that he had a conversation with Trump about Comey’s firing or the ongoing investigation into the suspected collusion between Vladimir Putin and Trump.
“I recused myself that day,” Sessions said of the day after he was confirmed. “I never received any information about the campaign.”
It was obvious that Sessions made a feeble effort to separate himself from the truth. He was a major figure in the interference with our election by the Russians, only surpassed by Michael Flynn and Paul Manafort.
The most important fact is that Sessions constantly claimed executive privilege regarding discussions with Trump about the investigation. A clear admission of guilt.
Trump and his circle of sinners are ‘circling the wagons,’ in a desperate attempt to misdirect the investigation which is escalating with every passing day.
As far as Sessions is concerned, he is a less than an average man of intelligence, who lies, supports racism, and is another of Trump’s old, white men who reject the Constitution, and ignore the future of America.
The list of names is long in the Trump administration who reject the America of our founding fathers. Every member of his despicable cabinet, and those who are his closest advisers, including Steve Bannon, Jared Kushner, Ivanka Trump, and others are unfit and unqualified to have positions in our nation’s government.
The Trump illegitimate presidency is the greatest travesty in American history. Donny boy is not an ‘American president.’ He is a greedy old, white man whose mental acuity is in question.
Is it time to invoke the 25th amendment? I am certain that it is not only a consideration but a mandatory judgment by the Republican Party.
The very fact that he selected the most unqualified men to compose his cabinet and position themselves as his closest advisers is proof that he is mentally incompetent to be our nation’s leader.
Sessions, Tillerson, DeVos, Price, Mnuchin, Ross, Carson, Pruitt, and the others have no interest in the future of our nation.
It’s time for this to end. Trump and his debauched administration must be removed from power in Washington today.
