“In the time period covered — Feb. 21 to March 31 — Pruitt had meetings, phone calls and speeches with leaders in oil, natural gas, coal, the automotive industry, utilities, agriculture and others who would benefit from the Trump administration’s aggressive deregulatory agenda.” This according to ‘The Hill.’

EPA Director Scott Pruitt has yet to meet with any environmental experts, or experts knowledgeable about green energy solutions.

Pruitt attended a “March 22 meeting of the executive council of the American Petroleum Institute at the Trump International Hotel in Washington, D.C., with 45 oil and gas CEOs.”

Anyone who is surprised that the man who now heads the Environmental Protection Agency is connected to America’s biggest polluters, doesn’t know Pruitt’s past.

Before he was nominated as Trump’s EPA director, he was the Attorney General of Oklahoma. Oklahoma’s only major resources are executing prisoners and oil and gas production. Pruitt was literally in the pocket of the petroleum industry. He filed multiple lawsuits against the EPA for restrictions placed upon oil companies and Oklahoma’s generous drilling policies. He fought for unlimited ‘fracking,’ which is the most dangerous drilling process in history.

For those of you who are unfamiliar with this drilling method, fracking is the process of forcing millions of gallons of water, mixed with 600 chemicals and sand, thousands of feet underground with the use of extremely high pressure to release natural gas from the shale. Several of these chemicals are known carcinogens. Not all of the dangerous mixture is recovered; much seeps into underground rivers and streams.

Oklahoma rarely experienced seismic activity; that is until fracking wells began to cover the landscape. Last year they had over 5,000 earthquakes; some as high as a magnitude of five.

This is Scott Pruitt. It has become obvious that the goal of Trump and Pruitt is to entirely disband the EPA, or weaken it to a level where it becomes useless.

The goal of Trump and his ‘director’ is to allow oil companies and factories to pollute the air, water, and land without regulations. This would further increase the wealth of the one-percent; including Trump; but virtually the environment beyond repair.

This is your illegitimate president.

The American people have a single power without entertaining the idea of a bloody revolution; our vote. Republicans must be voted out of Washington. This will remove any power Trump has. Save your country and save yourself. November 2018 is nearer than you think.
