If you are an Independent, a Republican, or a Democrat, I have a very serious question, and I would love your comments. Do you trust any entity in authority over the United States of America. I am including the illegitimate president, Congress, and the Pentagon? An addendum to this question is ‘do you believe that our government, our military, and all of our elected officials in general have the interests of the American people at the forefront of their decisions and their actions?’

I regret to tell you that this writer, who began his interest in politics during Dwight Eisenhower’s second campaign has zero faith in today’s government and the military brass.

If I asked most Americans ‘what was the greatest disaster in American history,’ all of the American people who have not witnessed decades of changes in our nation would likely say the Civil War, ‘Pearl Harbor,’ or the cowardly attacks of September 11, 2001. I honestly believe that November 8^th, 2016 was the most horrific day in American history.

Not only did the most despicable and unqualified man in America receive the gift of the presidency, Republicans maintained their control over both houses of congress. The American people have become the enemy of their own government.

Every proposal of Donald Trump is a gift to himself and the one-percent. His party is filled with nothing but hypocrites and failures who refuse to adhere to the wishes of the majority of the American people.

An issue not addressed by even the most experienced members of the media is the fact that with James Mattis as the Secretary of Defense, the Pentagon is playing Donald Trump for the fool that he is. Trump has recused himself from decisions regarding the military; Mattis has carte blanche related to any actions which involve the military. The Pentagon will continue to waste billions of dollars on weapons and weapons systems which have already proven themselves to be a waste of money, and those which will be in the future.

The destruction of a Syrian aircraft was foolhardy, and a dangerous escalation into America’s failed policies in the war-torn nation.

How can the American people trust Trump, Ryan, McConnell, Mattis, and others when we know they are lying to us every day?

We, the American people are under siege from our own government. With failed and incompetent GOP politicians in control of Congress, our lives and the future of our children are in great danger.

Denounce the GOP and take your country back. You are America, and the government must serve you or be removed from power.
