There was no evidence from any security agency that sarin gas was used on rebels fighting Assad forces in northern Syria; but Trump told the American people that a deadly gas attack had been launched by Assad on his own people.

After the attack on a Syrian airport, launching 59 Tomahawk missiles from a U.S. naval vessel, Trump also exaggerated the damage. The airport was in operation the very next day.

“None of this makes any sense,” one US officer told colleagues upon learning of the White House decision to retaliate against Syria. “We KNOW that there was no chemical attack… the Russians are furious. Claiming we have the real intel and know the truth… I guess it didn’t matter whether we elected Clinton or Trump.”

Of course I disagree with the last line; Hillary does not have an enormous ego; she would have trusted her advisers.

Let’s be honest here; Trump simply needed something to brag about, but of course it turned out to be another lie.

At least your illegitimate president is consistent.
