This article needs but a single word for its title. Under Trump’s ignorant administration, our government has become completely incompetent. His hasty and poor decisions, aided by two men who can only be called ‘traitors’ to the American people, Lyin Paul Ryan and old man who is well past his usefulness, Mitch McConnell, are unacceptable.

Trump’s blueprint for governing is to be reactionary, and that is nothing more than allowing the inmates to run the asylum.

In baseball, a batter must react to the pitch thrown to him. In tennis, each player must react to his or her opponent’s last shot. In business, deals are made by reacting to your adversaries latest proposal. Government does not function by reacting to daily events. Government must be a plodding effort by all members of congress to deliberate the issues facing our nation, and eventually compromise in favor of the majority of all Americans. This is not what is happening today.

For the last 20 years, the Republican Party has proven itself the most incompetent group of pretend-legislators in history. They have failed to learn their jobs. Led by McConnell, their only purpose is to obstruct legislation which would serve the needs and wishes of the American people. They ignore public opinion from the majority, and serve their masters; the one-percent.

With Donald Trump this situation has exacerbated. With absolutely no knowledge or experience in government, Trump has attempted to become dictatorial. Good government is not hasty; good government is not partisan. Even an average president listens to the people; Trump places his personal goals ahead of the nation.

Trump has proven himself to be a white supremacist, an Islamophobe, and a sexist, and is unworthy to live in the White House. Every proposal made by his administration will offer additional tax cuts to the super-rich and therefore additional wealth for himself and 584 other billionaires. His singular goal is to increase his personal business success. He is using his illegitimate office illegally to advance those interests domestically and in foreign nations.

If there was a word which was harsher than ‘incompetent,’ I would use it. Trump and his Republican servants are a disaster, and if left in power they will destroy the quality of life for the working class and replace our current oligarchy with fascist rule.

Presently America has a ‘one-party’ system. With Republicans in control of all three branches of government, only the worst will happen. The right wing has proven that it is unable to govern in just five months. They know how to do one thing; obstruct. GOP politicians are divided between the old guard, moderates, and the extremists. Extremists have been in control since 2010, and under the inept ‘leadership’ of Lyin Ryan, and Mitch ‘the traitor’ McConnell, they will continue to rule their failing party.

Trumpcare will fail the American people. Trump’s proposed budget will fail the American people. Both will cause the deaths of thousands of Americans each year by reducing Medicaid. Trump’s blueprint for repairing our infrastructure will fail the American people. Although he has proposed one-trillion dollars for the plan, only 200 billion will actually be used for construction, the other 800 billion will go to Trump and his billionaire cronies in the form of tax cuts.

America has an illegitimate president whose only goal is personal gain. He lied to his supporters, and continues to lie to the American people. Not a single legitimate journalist can find a single iota of truth in “Trumpspeak;” which is mostly accomplished by tweeting.

For most individuals, multiple words must be used to describe their personalities and abilities; for Trump only one is needed; Incompetence.
