To Whom Does Donald Trump Give His Loyalty; His Patriotism? A Response to Kellyanne Conway

Conway (2)

First of all, let’s make one thing perfectly clear; no where in the Constitution does it say that the American people must offer their loyalty to the President of the United States. This is America, and respect, loyalty, and other forms of tribute are earned and should not be expected by any politician.

I wrote this because this involves Trump and his immoral, unconstitutional and partisan politics. I am a true patriot; my devotion is to the people of my country who compose a nation. I will be loyal to my government when it deserves my loyalty.

My complaints about Donald Trump would fill pages, but the primary fact which disturbs me is his refusal to represent all of the American people, and his insistence that Democrats not be included in decision making in congress. He is waging a war against the working class, low-income Americans, and families living below the poverty level. The people are the United States of America, and by refusing to care for their needs and desires, he is displaying the most severe form of anti-Americanism by refusing to be patriotic to all 320 million people.

In addition, his denial of the proven facts that Vladimir Putin interfered with our 2016 election is a denial of the most important right belonging to the American people; our right to vote and expect those votes to count. If he was only slightly concerned with our nation’s future, he would place this situation in priority number one. But he claims that it ‘was all a hoax.’

Trump’s spin doctor and flunky, Kellyanne Conway, responded to the criticism from the media regarding Trump’s vile and disgusting tweets about “Morning Joe’s” Mika Brzezinski. Of course she ignored the fact that many members of his own party were just as critical; and all of them were right to do so.

Her response was an effort to mislead the American people and protect her immoral and childish boss.

If you go back and you look at what is said about this president, a lack of policy coverage, there are personal attacks about his physicalities, about his fitness for office, he’s called a goon, a thug, mentally ill, talking about dementia, armchair psychologists all over television every single day.”

Why don’t we take a look at her attempt to protect and defend the worst president in history.

What ‘policy’ is she talking about? Trump’s ‘policy’ has been to destroy what works and tear down the good achieved by his predecessors over the last 60+ years.

The only ‘personal attacks’ I or anyone has levied against him are related to his ego and weak temperament, and that is obvious even to the lying Ms. Conway. I have also questioned Trumps health, both physically and mentally, but that is not an attack on his person, I am registering a concern that he is by definition obese, and that he displays a lack of self-control, and a reported inability to focus which calls into question his mental condition. It could be senility, or something worse. Either way, he should agree to undergo a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation.

As for being ‘unfit’ for the office, he has proven that to be true in just over five months. Trump has accomplished nothing, and yet brags that he has done everything. This is unacceptable, and he is only fooling his most ardent supporters, and the traitors who are receiving a paycheck for attempting to deceive the American people. He has a failing grade on the issues both domestic and international with an approval rating of just 36 percent.

George, it doesn’t help the American people to have a president covered in this light. I’m sorry, it’s neither productive nor patriotic. The toxicity is over the top.”

As for myself, I do not watch television news. I learn about Trump from his own words and actions documented by the best news services in our nation.

Kellyanne Conway is the reason politics is poisonous in America. She is not part of the solution, she and those like her are the problem. Their own problems are that they cannot accept the truth; facts escape them. They are ignorant by choice, and that is unforgivable.

I cannot foresee any manner in which Trump could gain my trust or my respect; he has not offered his loyalty to the American people and cannot define ‘patriotism.’ If he were to become a president for all Americans, I would think about it.

Please re-post; thank you.
