There are two definitions for ‘politician’ in the dictionary; one is; “a person who is professionally involved in politics, especially as a holder of, or a candidate for, an elected office.”

The other is more defining.

“A person who acts in a manipulative and devious way, typically to gain advancement within an organization.”

The title of this article is more appropriate. ‘Professional politicians’ were never intended to be a reality. They are now ‘scumbags’ who use their office for their own personal advancement, economically and professionally, who ignore the promises made to voters after they win election. There is no greater example of this than the leaders of the Republican Party, Lyin Paul Ryan, Mitch ‘the traitor’ McConnell, and the most immoral man in the world, Donald J. Trump.

The media; especially television ‘fake news;’ is guilty for many things. However Donald Trump’s claims are merely attempts to misdirect the American people about the facts that he is the worst illegitimate president in American history. The fourth estate is guilty of not protecting the American people from the hypocrites and failures who occupy seats in the House and the Senate.

Capitalism has failed the vast majority of the American people, and this fact is ignored by the media and our worthless politicians. They are in collusion because they are members of the wealthy class.

Millions of Americans work hard every day to remain in low-income or impoverished conditions. The United States has only 4.5 percent of the worlds population, but 10.8 million, millionaires, and nearly one-third of the world’s billionaires.

One entire party supports these individuals without any concern for the great majority of the American people. Republicans are owned by the one-percent of wealthiest Americans, and fail to represent the needs and desires of the majority.

The word ‘politician’ has been reduced to only four letters. That word is vulgar, but at the same time appropriate.

Lobbyists employed by the super-rich own Washington, and they alone decide the fate of 320 million Americans. If term limits are not established for congress, in the same manner as the presidency, our government will continue to fail the American people. What was intended by our founding fathers is on the precipice of destruction.

American voters go to the polls completely uninformed and choose candidates based upon television ads which are intended to evoke emotions and suppress the facts; the issues. This must stop or our nation will continue to suffer from the failures of those such as Donald Trump, Paul Ryan, Mitch McConnell, Steve King, Tom Cotton, Ted Cruz, Rand Paul, and many others who have no interest in serving their constituents.

The time to take back the America of Washington, Jefferson, Franklin, Adams, Monroe, and others who had the vision to establish a new nation is overdue. The Republican Party no longer exists; it has become an agent for the wealthy, and seeks a new government under the control of a fascist leader. Refuse to be a subject and not a citizen.
