Sean Hannity is the last of the big three stooges left at FOX Noise. Megyn Kelly and Bill O’Reilly are both gone and forgotten. If Hannity had been employed by a legitimate news network during the campaign season, he would have been fired. His devotion to Trump should have been an embarrassment, even for FOX.
“I like Shep,” Hannity said, noting that the two are friends. “But he’s so anti-Trump. I mean, he went off on a rant last week.”
This was a statement Hannity made on his failing show last evening. It was a response to Shepard Smith’s recent comments about Trump. Below are those comments; I want you to judge whether or not they are ‘anti-Trump, or simply the first true words spoken on FOX in two decades.
Smith and Chris Wallace were discussing the story about Junior’s meeting with Russians last June to devise ways of defeating Hillary Clinton.
“If there’s nothing there, and that’s what they tell us, why all these lies? Why is it lie after lie after lie?” an angry Smith asked Wallace. “There are still people out there who believe we’re making it up, and one day they’re gonna realize we’re not, and look around and go, ‘Where are we? And why are we getting told all these lies?’ ”
Friday Wallace added his own view of the discussion and hinted at the possibility that FOX may be changing. Will it no longer be the right wing’s propaganda machine?
“This really shouldn’t be a matter of liberal versus conservative, pro-Trump versus anti-Trump,” Wallace said. “If you’re a fair-minded citizen, you should be concerned about the fact that we were repeatedly misled about what this meeting concerned.”
Realize that this is another part of the Trump Effect. The Republican Party will be forced to change, and now FOX may be attempting to hire legitimate journalists instead of ‘personalities.’
I foresee positive changes as a result of millions of ignorant voters electing the worst candidate in history. Exposing Republicans for what they are will lose them elections and hopefully force out the extremists who now control the once GOP. Democrats will join Independents and ‘get out the vote’ every two years, and not just in presidential election years.
Most importantly, I once again urge millennials to become involved. Not only is your vote important for the country, you can decided what happens in your own life. If a high percentage of you had voted last November, we would not be having a national nightmare. And remember the requirements to hold office in Washington. Representatives must be 25 years old, and a citizen of the United States. Senators must be 30, and the President must be at least 35, a natural born citizen, and lived in the United States for 14 consecutive years. It’s your turn to insure that America remains a democracy where freedom and equality is everyone’s right.
Please re-post; thank you.
