Trump’s defeat will be self-inflicted. His lack of principles and morality will destroy him. I, and others who expose Trump for what he is and what he is not are not necessary.

During the last week Trump addressed groups which offered him the opportunity to improve his image; of course he failed miserably.

On Monday he addressed the boy scouts in West Virginia. Trump had an opportunity to speak about personal attributes which could make our nation great. Instead he turned the event into a campaign rally. His speech was purely political, crude, and his subject matter revealed the bully everyone has learned to hate. Remarks from parents and scout leaders after the event offered criticism for Trump’s lengthy and divisive rhetoric.

Among other disreputable comments, Trump threatened to fire HHS Secretary Tom Price, and regaled an acquaintance for his sexual escapades on his yacht.

On Thursday, the FBI arrested and charged Suffolk County Officer Christopher McCoy with “depriving an arrestee of the right to bodily integrity,” for allegedly forcing a woman being detained at the county police precinct to perform oral sex on him.

On Friday, Trump spoke before the Suffolk County Police. His speech was focused on his approval of police brutality.

“When you see these thugs being thrown into the back of a paddy wagon, you just see them thrown in, rough, I said, ‘Please don’t be too nice,’” Trump said. “Like when you guys put somebody in the car, protecting their head, you know, the way you put [your] hand, like don’t hit their head, and they’ve just killed somebody. … I said, ‘You can take the hand away, okay?’”

Sadly, many of the officers laughed and applauded.

This forced the International Association of Police Chiefs to issue a statement later in the day.

“Managing use of force is one of the most difficult challenges faced by law enforcement agencies,” the IAPC wrote in a Friday blog post. “Law enforcement officers are trained to treat all individuals, whether they are a complainant, suspect or defendant, with dignity and respect. This is the bedrock principle behind the concepts of procedural justice and police legitimacy.”

Every event Trump attends becomes one of his vile rallies where he encourages hatred and violence. Trump is self-destructing before our very eyes. He exposes himself as a man who lacks moral character, intelligence, and a man who is unfit to lead our nation.
