Do you know the names Robert Mercer, Steve Bannon, Jeff Sessions, or Betsy DeVos? If you have, and you follow politics, you know that they believe in white nationalism. The one name you may not know is Robert Mercer. Mercer is a billionaire who joined Trump’s campaign in August of 2016. He became his chief financial supporter. With Mercer’s money came Steve Bannon and Kellyanne Conway.

Bannon was formerly the chief executive for Breitbart which supports all forms of prejudice and bigotry. Mercer is Breitbart’s biggest supporter.

Men are fairly judged by their actions, words, and the men and women with whom they associate. Using those guidelines, Donald Trump is the first president who is a white supremacist; he is not an American.

During his campaign racism flowed through his rallies like melted brie. His lack of respect for the rights of Muslims became a mantra. Trump’s claim that Hillary Clinton did not ‘appear presidential’ was entirely based on the fact that she did not have a penis.

Trump and Sessions have instituted new regulations which will harm minorities. They are now attempted to halt the practice of affirmative action in our universities. They plan to sue these institutions based on ‘white discrimination.’

Trump’s latest effort is to restrict immigration. This ‘Hitleresque’ effort will “favor applicants who can speak English, financially support themselves and their families and demonstrate skills that can contribute to our country.” In other words “only white Europeans need apply.”

Wouldn’t it be nice to have an American living in the White House? Shouldn’t the man who is soiling the sheets in our most revered residence support the Constitution? He swore to ‘preserve, protect, and defend’ the law of the land; when will he begin? Shouldn’t the man who represents the American people cherish our diversity and serve more than just the one-percent?
