John McCain rejected most other Republicans and voted against repealing and replacing Obamacare with a mean spirited bill which would have harmed and even killed thousands of Americans. Republicans who voted for the bill must be remembered and lose their privilege of working in Washington.
One of these men is Ron Johnson from Wisconsin. He claimed that McCain’s ‘no’ vote was the result of his brain tumor. Really. I can’t make this s**t up.
“Again, I’m not gonna speak for John McCain — he has a brain tumor right now — that vote occurred at 1:30 in the morning, some of that might have factored in.”
Mr. Johnson, John McCain had courage; courage to represent the people and reject the one-percent. You are a disgrace to your once grand party and to the people you claim to represent.
“It is bizarre and deeply unfortunate that Senator Johnson would question the judgment of a colleague and friend. Senator McCain has been very open and clear about the reasons for his vote,” said McCain spokeswoman Julie Tarallo.
How do these guys get elected. I’m beginning to think that a requirement must be added when anyone files their intention to run for public office; an IQ test.
Johnson is a perfect and pitiful example of today’s GOP. Once they are elected they forget about the people who voted for them and serve their masters; special interests. Most of America demanded that Obamacare be repaired not repealed. But Johnson and most of his failed and hypocritical party ignored the people.
Senator McCain was courageous and followed the lead of Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski. The men in the party bow to the worst president in history who continues his attempts to push through an agenda which would be a gift to himself and 584 other billionaires and harm the majority of America’s people.
Senator Johnson; we won’t forget you when you are up for reelection in 2022. It sounds like a long time from now, but we won’t forget that the voters of Wisconsin made a serious mistake when they gave you a second term.
Please re-post; thank you.
