Yesterday I was Embarrassed by the Current President, and Proud of my Former President

barrack-obama

As one of Donald Trump’s biggest critics, I wake up every day hoping that he will not say or do something more embarrassing, more disgusting than he has in the past. I am always saddened to learn that he has found a new way to prove that he hates my America.

Trump’s comments yesterday reached the pinnacle of evil; a message so revolting that it can never be exceeded or forgiven. Your illegitimate president admitted that he is a white supremacist. Your illegitimate president admitted that he supports domestic terrorism. Your illegitimate president made it perfectly clear that it is ‘us vs him.’

As Trump blamed those who were protesting white supremacy, neo-Nazis, and the KKK, the nation was appalled, while hate groups cheered. Trump blamed good and patriotic Americans for the violence in Charlottesville, while those who hate our country and the Constitution were allowed to chant slogans which began in 1930’s Germany when Adolf Hitler initiated his horrific plan to ‘purify’ his nation, and eliminate all Jews. Trump is not an American and must be removed from the White House.

While Trump was proving that he is unworthy to be called the President of the United States, my President, Barrack Obama, tweeted a message to the world and set a standard which will be difficult to surpass.

No one is born hating another person because of the color of his skin or his background or his religion … People must learn to hate, and if they can learn to hate, they can be taught to love … For love comes more naturally to the human heart than its opposite,” Obama said, quoting former South African president Nelson Mandela in tweets.

Humans have several inbred faults. One of the most egregious is blaming others for our failings. At the center of the white supremacist movement is attacking those who are different; those who have diverse backgrounds and a skin color which is not identical to their own. While they have failed to accomplish anything of value in their lives, they search for a reason; someone else to blame for their failures.

And they don’t end with pure racism, they learn to support hatred for all religions other than Christianity, and embrace a secondary role for women in our society.

These deplorable individuals have been the black mark on our nation throughout its history. Now that they have a leader defiling the White House, they have come out of the shadows and feel empowered to shout their despicable message. I am embarrassed and ashamed of those who are in the White House today. They do not represent my America, and they must be removed.

Please re-post; thank you.
