The junior Senator from Arizona, Jeff Flake, has been one of Trump most consistent critics. Naturally Trump feels obligated to attack him with his thumbs.

“Great to see that Dr. Kelli Ward is running against Flake Jeff Flake, who is WEAK on borders, crime and a non-factor in Senate. He’s toxic!” Trump tweeted.

The Senator’s team shot back at your illegitimate president.

“You don’t serve Arizona by cutting backroom deals in Washington, D.C. That’s why Senator Flake will always fight for the people of our state.”

The senior Senator from Arizona, John McCain, also defended his colleague.

“.@JeffFlake is a principled legislator & always does what’s right for the people of #AZ. Our state needs his leadership now more than ever,” McCain wrote.

What Trump is actually upset about is a recent book released by Senator Flake. In the book he lambastes Trump for his failures to be presidential, and his party for allowing Trump to win the party’s nomination, and eventually the presidency. The book is called “The Conscience of a Conservative.”

The saddest part of this story is that Flake is 100 percent correct. Trump’s illegitimate presidency is the fault of failed leadership, and the offering of 17 failed candidates. Reince Priebus, Mitch McConnell, and Paul Ryan all failed to guide Republican voters by not reporting the truth about Trump. He is the most unqualified and unfit man in history, and is now defiling the White House.

These same failures are now bowing to every demand made by Trump and great harm and division have come to our nation.
