In two days, Trump will have been in office for seven months. I know it seems far longer. Today he fired his seventh high level aide. I know this will upset the women who read this article, but it’s true; Steve Bannon is finishing his final day in the very, very White House.
Bannon began his association with Trump as the chief executive at Breitbart. Trump was a guest on one of his vile radio broadcasts. Billionaire Robert Mercer placed Bannon in the position of CEO in Trump’s failing campaign in August of 2016. After Trump’s gift of the presidency by the Electoral College last November, his first choice, or the choice of Robert Mercer, was Bannon. He became Trump’s White House chief strategist. Fortunately for Bannon this position did not require Senate confirmation, but almost everyone involved with politics asked about his qualifications for such a position.
As a member of the Alt-Right, he brought white nationalism into the White House. We later learned that several members of Trump’s staff supported this disgusting belief, including Jeff Sessions, Betsy DeVos, Stephen Miller, Sebastian Gorka, and eventually Trump himself.
This is a long list for a president who has only been in office for a short period of time: Sally Yates, Michael Flynn, James Comey, Sean Spicer, Reince Priebus, Anthony Scaramucci, and now Steve Bannon. There is a much longer list of those who were fired or resigned; however, these seven were high-level employees.
Who will be next? We can only hope that it’s Trump himself.
Please re-post; thank you.
