Trump loves to brag about his ‘accomplishments.’ Of course we have all learned that he has none. These ‘accomplishments’ are the result of planning by others, most conspicuously President Obama, which began long before he considered running for the Republican nomination. No jobs have been created by his policies. The stock market reached record highs well before his inauguration. He had the smallest crowd in history on January 20^th. He is the least popular president after just seven months in office ever recorded in modern times.

Recently Trump bragged, claiming: “I’ll tell you, we’re spending a lot of money on the inner cities. We’re fixing the inner cities. We’re doing far more than anybody’s done with respect to the inner cities. It’s a priority for me. And it’s very important.” Really?

First of all, let’s be clear about what Trump means when he uses the words ‘inner cities.’ For Trump, this is a synonym for African Americans. He is obviously unaware than thousands of black families have moved to the suburbs and out of urban areas.

Secondly, Trump’s budget would add $54 billion to the Pentagon’s budget, taking funding from 18 other agencies. Trump’s plans cut programs that help minorities, the poor, seniors, and those with disabilities. His plan would harm low-income Americans, a group which is disproportionately African American.

The budget for Housing and Urban Development would be cut by $6.2 billion. This will greatly reduce the agencies effort to assist low-income, urban families.

Trump would cut the Education Department’s budget by 14 percent, reducing the number of grants for lower income Americans. Although Trump promised during his campaign that he would protect funding for historically black colleges and universities, he will now cut ‘discretionary spending,’ will will reduce their current budgets.

Trump will reduce Job Corps funding, an agency which trains disadvantaged young men and women for jobs which earn a livable wage.

After school programs would receive cuts, a program which aids children of families living in poverty.

Trump would eliminate the Minority Business Agency, which aided minority businesses in minority communities.

The list is far longer than this article.

Trump’s mouth was open again, and he was falsely bragging; the result, a BIG lie.

This is your illegitimate president; a man who has no morals and cannot be trusted.
