During the last seven days, Trump was forced to abandon both of his economic councils as CEO’s of several major corporations withdrew. Trump fired his very first appointee, Steve Bannon. Billionaire Carl Icahn resigned as a ‘special adviser’ to the president. And Evangelist Pastor A.R. Bernard ended his relationship with Trump. How come no one likes your illegitimate president?

Bannon was the seventh senior adviser Trump fired in his first seven months. But the list is much longer of others who were either fired or resigned. The word in Washington is that no one wants to work for an ill-tempered, unpredictable man who has no morals.

The next step is for more of the hypocrites and cowards in the Republican congress to be honest and show their support for the American people. I know two several who never will; they’ll go down with Trump, and that includes Mitch McConnell and Paul Ryan.

Pastor Bernard is the first of Trump’s ‘spiritual advisers’ to depart. He offered the same reasons other men and women have deserted their fuhrer.

“When he vacillated over the last week, especially over Charlottesville, I had come to the point where I had to make a decision to more than just step away,” Bernard told CNN’s Don Lemon on “CNN Tonight.”

“When you vacillate like that, it means that there’s not a set of core values that you have determined to guide your thinking, your decision-making. Instead, it demonstrates that you are being tossed between opinions of those around you. And I’ve got a problem with that kind of lack of leadership.”

Mr. Lemon asked Bernard why he hadn’t denounced Trump after the “Access Hollywood” tapes were revealed, and of course, as most Christians do, he gave a hypocritical and incomplete response.

“I accepted the fact that, you know, the American public by their vote spoke and put a particular individual in office with all of the flaws, with all of the character issues,” Bernard said. “I was not there to judge that. I was there to see if there was an opportunity to effect change.”

I have asked many times why any individual who claims to be religious, or any female who calls herself a woman, could possibly have supported Trump after he admitted that he was a sexual predator.

The truth is, now that Trump has been exposed as a white supremacist, a sexual predator, and a man with a very weak temperament whose intellect is below average, why isn’t his approval rating lower than the mid-thirties. Trump’s only supporters at this time are truly a ‘basket of deplorables.’

Everyone in America is asking “who’s leaving next?” We can only hope that it’s Trump himself.
