Before I begin my rant about those in Washington who call themselves ‘Republicans’ today, let’s get to the facts. I have claimed for 26 months that Trump was the most unqualified man in history to seek the presidency. I have written dozens of articles proving that his business practices were both unscrupulous and criminal. I have never wavered on my claim that he has no interest in America; he only cares about Donald Trump. And I have claimed incessantly that he is a white supremacist. The fact that I have been proven right does not make me feel better about the situation our country is in today.

Our nation has a man with no morals; a man who proclaimed himself to be a sexual predator; a man who represents the worst or our nation; and a man who is mentally incompetent defiling the White House.

Okay, now let’s discuss his political party.

Republicans are proud to call themselves the ‘party of Lincoln.’ The truth is that not a single member of the GOP can rightfully compare themselves to one of the greatest presidents in American history. They oppose the majority of Lincoln’s principles, and are the party of racism.

Republicans claim to be the party of ‘less government’ and increased individual freedom. That was the Republican Party of 20-30 years ago. Today they have aligned themselves with the Christian religious right and place themselves and their beliefs in your bedrooms and in your doctor’s office.

Republicans claim to be the party of family values, but the truth is that every day we learn of a new scandal which proves that they are the party of deviants and philanderers. We only need to look at our illegitimate president to know this fact.

Most of all, Republicans do not represent the majority; they serve the one-percent and deny the needs and desires of the majority. They offer their allegiance to Trump and his plans to destroy the future of the working class, low-income Americans, and increase the number of American families living in the poverty level. This has been their choice after his gift from the Electoral College, despite the fact that they denounced him during his campaign. The word is ‘hypocrite.’

Now that all of the world knows who Trump really is, only a few Republicans have displayed the courage to admit that millions of Americans made an extremely poor decision on November 8, 2016. A small number of GOP politicians have offered the truth to the American people about Trump’s failure as our nation’s leader and that he is unfit to live in the White House. Only Susan Collins, Lisa Murkowski, John McCain, Bob Corker, Tim Scott, and Jeff Flake have bluntly denounced Trump’s white supremacist beliefs and questioned his mental ability to lead our nation. Nothing has been forthcoming from ‘Lyin Paul Ryan,’ or Mitch ‘the traitor’ McConnell.

A few Republicans have joined Democrats in calling for Trump’s resignation. I guarantee you that Republicans lack the courage to begin impeachment proceedings against the worst and most immoral president in our history. Trump will destroy American principles for the next three-and-one-half years.

Trump is destroying our nation’s democracy piece by piece. His close relationships with Vladimir Putin and Robert Mercer prove that his ambitions include the repeal of the Constitution and the end of the America of our founding fathers. And most Republicans are accepting his goals as their own.

We, the people who are the United States of America cannot allow this. Revolution and retaking control of our nation must happen; and soon. If not by our vote, a second bloody revolution must begin, and I am ready to join in the fight. I am a patriot, and I believe that my America is worth saving.
