I’m beginning to think that no one in the right wing of our nation’s politics tells the truth. It seems that they are all following their leader.
“Internet sleuths just found the smoking gun on Dems planning violence in Charlottesville,” declared the headline on an Aug. 14, 2017, post on NewsUpToday.com.
Facebook promised an effort to halt propaganda, especially when it was posted by white supremacists. They caught this post before its members could read it and flagged it as a probable falsehood.
Sadly this debunked story was posted all over the internet. Right wing extremists will say or do anything to cover-up their racist beliefs.
“The media flurry after the confusing happenings in Charlottesville yesterday is fueling violence in this country and it appears that this is exactly what the Dems want,” the post read. “Users on Reddit found a potential smoking gun Craigslist post seeking to hire protesters in Charlotte, North Carolina for ‘rallies to protests to corporate PR stunts to celebrity scenes.’”
This is the problem with the internet; anyone can say anything and expect people to believe their falsehoods without corroboration.
If Trump’s lips are moving, he’s lying, and his supporters are attempting to save his very large derriere. It’s not going to work this time; Trump has placed himself in a position where even his supporters; those who are not fellow white supremacists; no longer trust him. Donny Boy is his own worst enemy.
I want to ask a question; and it’s honest and direct, unlike the media or the fourth estate; how does it feel to have your illegitimate president and his circle of sinners as your enemy? They don’t give a damn about the American people and the future of the United States of America. Their agenda is money. Sadly, in America, it’s always a case of ‘follow the money;’ of profit before people. Trump is the epitome of that fact, and his plans do not include you or me.
