After Trump’s declaration that there were ‘some good people marching’ in the “Unite the Right” rally, organizations which planned to hold charity events at his ‘millionaires only club,’ Mar-a-Lago, have canceled their plans. In five days, 14 charities informed the resort that they would no longer hold their events in the club’s ballroom.

The south Florida resort already had many open dates on its calendar related to previous words and actions by Donald Trump. Recent organizations which have changed their plans include the American Red Cross, the Salvation Army, the American Cancer Society, American Friends of Magen David Adom, Leaders in Furthering Education, the Palm Beach Zoo, the Preservation Foundation of Palm Beach, the Susan G. Komen breast cancer charity and the Autism Project of Palm Beach County.

The only remaining question which needs an answer is how long can the Republican controlled congress continue to support Trump. He is the poison which is not only destroying what was left of the once Grand Old Party, he is adding further division. The word from insiders is that although most Republicans are not openly stating their concerns about Trump’s mental instability, behind closed doors many members of the senate are expressing their concerns. Apparently there is a growing awareness that Trump will cause great harm to the party; oh, and he could cause great harm to America as well; but that’s another story.

Trump will have plenty of room on his golf course; the way he’s gaining weight, he’ll need it.
