After the tragic events in Charlottesville, Virginia, Phoenix Mayor Greg Stanton urged Trump not to hold his rally tonight in his city. But Trump ignored him. His approval ratings are at an all time low, and his fragile ego desperately needs soothing.

It is being reported that thousands of protesters are arriving Phoenix. Trump will have a large crowd at the event, but it is likely that those protesting will outnumber Trump’s ‘basket of deplorables.’

Everyone is waiting to hear what vile and wretched remarks Trump will offer his diminishing supporters. Will he reignite the idea of his unnecessary and costly wall? What will he say about immigration? It is also assumed by some that he will pardon former Maricopa County Sheriff, Joe Arpaio.

“I am disappointed that the President has decided to hold a campaign rally while our nation is still healing from the tragic events in Charlottesville. If the President is coming to Phoenix to announce a pardon for Sheriff Joe Arpaio, then it will be clear his true intent is to inflame emotions and further divide our nation,” the Mayor pleaded.

This is another waste of time and money; it serves no purpose other than to satisfy Trump’s mental instability. He will never speak to all of the American people and take the verbal bashing he deserves. He is incapable of accepting any comments which offer the truth about his failed presidency.

“I absolutely think it’s inappropriate to be holding a political rally a few days after an innocent woman was mowed down by a neo-Nazi,” said Rep. Ruben Gallego (D-Ariz.), whose district includes downtown Phoenix. “It’s throwing tinder onto an ongoing fire.”

Trump doesn’t care; he is an arrogant, ignorant, and incompetent man who has harmed our nation beyond repair. Trump has no interest in our nation’s future, or the welfare of all Americans; Trump cares about Trump.

I hope that no one is injured this evening. There will be an enormous outpouring of anger and hatred from both sides.
