Trump is a non-working president; he tweets, watches cable television, and golfs. He failed to make any effort to pass his harmful healthcare bill. His lack of knowledge and experience is damaging our government’s ability to become functional once again. This, combined with the failed leadership of Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell, has extended our ‘do-nothing congress.’
The next challenge facing our government is the ‘debt ceiling.’ Without addressing the problem seriously, a government shutdown is a distinct possibility.
Trump tweeted: “I requested that Mitch M & Paul R tie the Debt Ceiling legislation into the popular V.A. Bill (which just passed) for easy approval. They … didn’t do it so now we have a big deal with Dems holding them up (as usual) on Debt Ceiling approval. Could have been so easy — now a mess!”
This is the ‘Trump way.’ He blames everyone else for his failures. He is always the victim, but does nothing to insure that our nation moves forward.
Next month our nation could face a disaster. Both the debt ceiling and the government spending bill will require passage or our nation faces a fiscal meltdown. Trump continues to complain, but, as usual, has no plan to fix the problems. How much does our nation miss President Obama?
Trump has added to the spending bill a requirement that his wall be constructed. It has been proven unnecessary, but Trump cares more about keeping a campaign promise to his decreasing number of supporters than working for the majority of our nation’s people. Every day we learn that our illegitimate president is lacking the intellect and mental stability to lead our nation.
If you have read any of my previous articles, you know that I have no respect for Ryan or McConnell; they are hypocrites and traitors to the American people, and have no ability to govern our nation effectively. However, they are the party in power and they must care for our nation. The infighting within the Republican Party is not acceptable. Someone must display leadership and insist that the childishness which is infesting Washington ends now. The time for playing, pretending, and posturing is over. Our nation desperately needs men and women who will work for them and leave their egos behind.
Please re-post; thank you.
