Donald Trump is reversing much of the progress made in our nation in the last 60 years. His only “accomplishments” are undoing laws and regulations which benefit the majority. He has proven himself to be a white supremacist, and is without a doubt Islamophobic. Now he is exposing his homophobia.

Trump issued a memorandum informing military leaders that they are no longer allowed to allow transgender Americans to enlist in the armed forces. There are currently thousands of men and women who had the courage to accept their true sexual identity serving in all branches of the military in key positions.

“In the memorandum, Trump also barred the Department of Defense from providing resources for medical treatment for any transgender individuals currently serving in the military by March 23, except to protect the health of someone who has already begun the process. The cost of care related to gender reassignment, Bloomberg reported, represents about 0.1% of the military’s entire health care bill.”

How long will the hypocrites in Trump’s Republican Party continue to allow a man who is not an American to sit in the Oval Office? A few have denounced Trump for his lack of principles and morals, but these do not include failed leaders Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell. These two cowards must lead their party in a revolt against the worst president in our nation’s history. Although Bannon and Gorka are now gone from the White House, Trump continues to surround himself with the worst in America. He has recently nominated Sam Clovis, an unqualified and well-know bigot, for a key position in the Department of Agriculture.

Ned Price is a former senior director of the National Security Council. “Those who have studied and understand this issue far better than our current commander-in-chief ever will concluded that allowing transgendered Americans to serve in our Armed Forces is consistent with military readiness and with our American values,” he said.

Mr. Price added that Trump’s actions are politically motivated and have no basis in his reality. Trump considers blacks, Hispanics, the LGBTQ community, Muslims, and women inferior to himself; old, fat, privileged white men.

Donny Boy, it’s time for you to return to your golden tower, and cease the destruction of our once respected country.
