For at least 25 years the Republican Party’s campaign strategy has been to use attack ads against their opponents. They have no platform; no principles to offer voters. The intent is to discredit their opponents with the use of lies and innuendo. In 2017 they are beginning to use this strategy against each other, proving that the once GOP of Lincoln no longer exists.
The best example of this new low on the right is an attempt by Trump and his chosen villains to discredit the junior senator from Arizona, Jeff Flake.
Senator Flake has become the most vocal critic of Donald Trump from the right side of the aisle. His accurate portrayal of the man who hates America and is a danger to world peace is not inaccurate. And Trump knows that the truth could set America free from the worst illegitimate president in American history.
Much of Trump’s attacks against Senator Flake are based upon his recent book, titled the “Conscience of a Conservative.”
However, Flake’s criticism of Trump began long before he was gifted the presidency by the Electoral College.
“His August 1, 2016 statement that ‘I can’t vote for Donald Trump given the things that he’s said’ was commercially
featured in a Hillary Clinton campaign ad.”
Flake tweeted on Oct. 8, 2016, that Trump “needs to withdraw from the race.” And he told Vanity Fair in July 2016 that he didn’t think Trump could win the presidency. “I want a Republican in the White House, but he can’t get there, in my view, saying the things that he’s saying,” Flake said.
The attack ads by Trump and the RNC are completely fallacious. Flake attempted to support Trump frequently, but your illegitimate president continued to violate the principles of the Republican Party, and reject the Constitution. The truth is that Flake has voted for Trump’s position 93.5 percent of the time. This is simply another effort by Trump to soothe his fragile ego.
Ads by Trump and his hypocritical party are attempting to denounce Flake’s conservative views, but have been proven fallacious simply by reporting his record as a Republican.
Trump is a loser, and will never have the support of the majority of the American people, no matter how egregious his lies become.
I must admit that Flake would never receive my support; his views regarding the most important issues facing our nation do not reflect my own. However, he is courageous in his denouncement of Trump who is the most destructive illegitimate president in history.
Please re-post; thank you.
