You can take the girl away from FOX Noise, but you can’t take FOX Noise out of the girl. The atmosphere at FOX was obviously toxic, and when Megyn Kelly left, she brought with her an ambition and animosity which is now infecting NBC. Whichever upper management individual who decided to bring Kelly to their network should be terminated.

Although NBC is publicly expressing excitement over Kelly’s new 9 a.m. morning show scheduled to begin in four weeks, several of the networks executives are privately expressing doubts. The reasons behind the uncertainty are her failed Sunday night broadcasts, including an extremely controversial interview of conspiracy theorist Alex Jones. Jones continues to claim that the tragedy at Sandy Hook Elementary School on December 14, 2012 was all a hoax.

FOX former President of the ‘news’ division, Roger Ailes, once joked that the cable network appealed to viewers “55 to dead.” NBC is concerned about Kelly’s ability to appeal to the demographics of the ‘Today Show’ audience. The weekly morning broadcast is heavily based upon female viewership. In addition, the Today Show audience has 25-30 percent African American and Latino’s in its audience share. It is widely known that when Kelly was at FOX, her loyal viewers were mostly middle aged and older men.

Kelly will have her own stage at 30 Rock. In just one week NBC executives will know whether or not their ‘gamble’ will pay off.

Personally, I doubt that the years spent at the Republican Party’s propaganda machine have been forgotten. It is highly unlikely that she can make the switch to a live morning show which must appeal to a far broader audience. Kelly lacks the charisma which is necessary to draw an audience away from CBS and ABC.

Of course I’ve been wrong before. I never believed that the American people would elect a man who would become the worst president in history.
