The site was Fairfax County, Virginia. A special election was held Tuesday for a seat on the county’s school board. Republicans rushed the election, hoping for an extremely low turnout and a win for their candidate. Democrats got busy and instead of four or five percent turnout, ten percent of all eligible voters came to the polls.
The candidates were Democrat Karen Keys-Gamarra, who her opponent described as an “arrogant black woman,” and Republican Chris Grisafe, who had the endorsement of the KKK.
62,000 votes were cast; Ms. Keys-Gamarra received 41,000; Grisafe 21,000. A virtual slaughter.
This was a huge victory for common sense; a huge victory for good and moral people. Most importantly it was a victory for the children in the school system; the most qualified candidate will now be on the board and take part in measures to eliminate bullying and increasing learning abilities of every child.
This is another one of many uplifting stories which offer hope to real Americans, but you’ll never hear about it on the mainstream media’s television broadcasts. They constantly fail the American people by omitting facts and stories which would truly enlighten America, while focusing on the latest idiocy from Donald Trump.
One of the reasons this election appeared important was because of the tragic events in Charlottesville earlier in the month. Fairfax County is just over 106 miles from Charlottesville. With such a short period of time between the incident, Trump’s support of white supremacy, and the election, voters were obviously focused on ensuring that a neo-Nazi would not be allowed on their school board.
Personally, I am pleased to hear some good news. There hasn’t been much since November 8, 2016, including the awful things I feel obliged to reveal to the American people on a daily basis. This is a victory ‘for the good guys;’ for the people.
Please re-post; thank you.
