When a nation’s government ignores the wishes and needs of its people, and serves one man’s demands, that country is now in control of fascism. This is what we learned after the traitors in the Republican Party passed Trump’s extremely harmful ‘tax bill’ in the wee hours of Saturday morning.

Our nation has a one-party system under the illegitimate presidency of Trump. All democracy has vanished forever, or at least as long as Republicans are in control of our government.

I am an Independent. Although last November I could not find a single Republican who earned my respect, that is not normally the situation. After the vote was taken early this morning, I will never vote for a Republican again. They do not deserve my vote or my respect.

Republicans have chosen to be ignorant. If I know that Trump is mentally unfit to be the President of the United States, they do as well. He has a desperate need to satisfy his ego, is unable to control his temper, and has the attention span of a three-month-old child. They allow him to destroy our nation one piece at a time.

No man or woman who considers themselves true Americans can support Trump or his despicable party. They do not represent you or those you love. Millions of uninformed voters, and tens-of-thousands of white supremacists made the biggest mistake in our nation’s history in November of 2016. Those who will suffer the most from Trump’s illegitimate presidency are those who voted for him.

I am ashamed of our government and nearly one-half of my nation’s people. They don’t love my America, and I wish they would leave.
