Today’s Republican Party is using the label which once was fairly attributed to the ‘Grand Old Party.’ Today it has no resemblance to the party of Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt, or Dwight Eisenhower. It is a disgrace to the history of a party which was principled and had morals. Their early Saturday morning vote on a tax bill which will harm the middle and working class, and place more Americans in poverty is proof that they are waging a war on the majority. The fact that they refuse to drop all support for the second worst political candidate in history, Roy Moore, proves that morality is not a concern for the former GOP. Only Trump was a more despicable candidate than Moore, and that is why Trump is supporting the dirty old man.

Mitch McConnell is one of the worst men in the world; a professional politician. He is more concerned with his future and the future of his party than the people and nation he is supposed to represent. Instead of standing up and being a man, he continues to be a wuss and a traitor to my America.

“I think we’re going to let the people of Alabama decide a week from Tuesday who they want to send to the Senate, and then we’ll address the matter appropriately,” McConnell said.

The ‘Turtle’ is a true Republican. He refuses to take a strong position on what is right, and has opened the back door just a crack allowing himself to ‘double-speak’ if this deplorable man wins as the most racist state in the union supports him.

My greatest problem with the Republican Party is its hypocrisy. If Moore was a Democrat, they would be vehemently attacking him with every weapon they possess. Moore would be ‘Satan on earth.’ But he is a Republican, and morality is not a requirement for election in the Republican Party.

If President Obama was the President today, and acted in a similar fashion to Donald Trump, he would have faced charges of impeachment months ago. If Mr. Obama and his supporters had contact with 19 Russians who were know spies during the election, he would be on trial for treason. But Trump flies the Republican flag. McConnell and ‘Lyin Paul Ryan’ attacked the creation of Obamacare back in 2010; claiming that it was rushed and no one had read the entire bill. They attempted to create a destructive healthcare bill of their own in three weeks and repeal Obamacare. Obamacare required 11 months to construct the bill.

Republicans did the same thing with the tax bill. With absolutely no bipartisan input, and a final bill which had handwritten notes in the margins, it was passed against the will of the people, and will remove healthcare from millions and increase the number of Americans living in poverty already at an unforgivable number of more than 49 million.

I hope that you and your friends and family will join the revolution. On November 6, 2018, if a candidate has an “R” next to his or her name, vote against them; they are the enemy.
