How much longer can the Republican Party pretend that it is unified? Aides inside the party reveal that what they convey to the public is far from what exists behind closed doors.
Multiple GOP politicians are concerned about Trump’s mental competency, and what his actions will do to their reelection attempts. The extremists; the TEA Party and the Freedom Caucus; have created a dysfunctional government with their refusal to deliberate and compromise. A democratic republic cannot exist without the former two ingredients.
Mitch McConnell has failed the people of the United States for more than 30 long years. He has zero accomplishments to his credit, and in January of 2009 he proved that he is a racist and a failed leader. McConnell stood before the cameras and promised that his party would do nothing as long as a black man remained in office. This is the only promise he kept for eight years.
Paul Ryan vehemently denounced Trump during the campaign for his lack of morals and for the fact that he is a sexual predator. Today he is bowing to his party’s degenerate leader, and has become the biggest hypocrite in America’s 241 year history.
When 51 Republican senators voted in favor of Trump’s destructive tax bill early Saturday morning, they proved that they had sold their souls to the devil and rejected the wishes of the American people. They will pay for their sins in 2018 and 2020 as Democrats retake control of our nation’s future.
It is unlikely that liberals will be able to repair the severity of the damage created by Trump and his failed party, but they will follow the golden rule; “if you cannot do good, do no harm.”
When I became more serious about my involvement in our nation’s future back in my 40’s, I realized that our nation needs three strong political parties. Today we have only one party in control of all three branches of our government, and it is disjointed and a failure. Republicans have not included Democrats in one issue facing America for the first 10 months and 10 days of Trump’s illegitimate presidency. This makes our government entirely dysfunctional, primarily because the party itself is dysfunctional.
Change is mandatory, and it can only happen if you and I vote Republicans out of office in November of 2018 and November of 2020.
Take your country back
