Donald Trump spoke at the opening of the Mississippi Civil Right Museum today. He was there although some members of the NAACP who actually marched in the 1960’s told him that he was not welcome. There reason was just and understandable. It was not right for a white supremacist to speak at an event which is diametrically opposed to his beliefs.

“He does not deserve to be in Jackson for the celebration of the civil rights museum opening,” civil rights activist Amos Brown, a board member of the NAACP, said at a press conference in the city on Saturday. He slammed Trump for “not showing up for our civil rights” both before and during his presidency.

“We respect your office but … we do not respect your attitude and your division of the nation,” he continued.

Mississippi Representative Bernie Thompson released a joint statement with Georgia Democratic Rep. John Lewis saying, “President Trump’s attendance and his hurtful policies are an insult to the people portrayed in this civil rights museum.”

Trump’s arrogance and ego forced him to attend and speak. He was not welcome, but that is nothing new. For real Americans Trump is not welcome in our White House; he refuses to leave.

It has become obvious that Trump is on a mission to destroy everything which made our nation respected, and everything which is needed to secure our country’s future. He is harming the environment, has increased racism, he is ruining healthcare, levying larger taxes on the middle class, ignoring the rights of women to be treated equally and with respect, and has wasted nearly 100 million taxpayer dollars for his personal pleasure.

Trump is the biggest phony in the world. He despises the fact that black men and women have the same rights as whites. He has proven that he is a hypocrite once again by attending today’s event.

Trump is the worst thing to ever happen to America.
