Roy Moore Displays his Racist Views and his Ignorance: Again

Roy Moore

Let’s be blunt. If we ignore the fact that Roy Moore is a child molester, there are many reasons why he must not be allowed to shame the senate. He is ignorant about the workings of our federal government, has no respect for the Constitution, and is not only a racist, he is a homophobe, an Islamophobe, a misogynist, and a religious extremist. This despicable person must not be allowed to have an opinion or a vote in our government. He would be as great a disaster as Donald Trump.

Moore recently attempted to deny his deep seeded views about the LGBTQ community and minorities. He has suggested that every amendment to the Constitution after the Bill or Rights be repealed. That would include his obvious goal, the 14th amendment, which guarantees equal protection under the law. Moore claims that eliminating all other 17 amendments, which were ratified by the states and demonstrate the will of the people “would eliminate many problems,” Moore replied. “You know people don’t understand how some of these amendments have completely tried to wreck the form of government that our forefathers intended.”

Moore is not concerned about the people; he is an Alabama Republican.

Moore is another old, white man who believes in Trump’s belief that we should “make America white again.” When questioned about the 14th amendment, this was his response. (Remember that he is from Alabama.)

“Yeah, it had very serious problems with its approval by the states,” Moore replied. “The danger in the 14th Amendment, which was to restrict, it has been a restriction on the states using the first Ten Amendments by and through the 14th Amendment. To restrict the states from doing something that the federal government was restricted from doing and allowing the federal government to do something which the first Ten Amendments prevented them from doing. If you understand the incorporation doctrine used by the courts and what it meant. You’d understand what I’m talking about.”

The problem here is that Moore knows all too well what this means. The 14th amendment is why the Supreme Court upheld same-sex marriage. Moore’s homophobia is greater than that of Mike Pence.

Should such a despicable white supremacist be allowed to vote in congress? The answer is “hell no.”

Now add the fact that he is a confirmed sexual predator and child molester, and Moore is Alabama royalty.

The result of tomorrow’s special election will inform all of America whether or not the people of Alabama have decided to enter the 21st century or remain in their dark past.

Please re-post; thank you.
